These assemblies are commonly found on carbonated beverage machines or dispensers and residential boilers, when there are no additions of chemicals to the boiler. The carbonated beverage DCVA specification is ASSE 1022. The boiler DCVA specification is ASSE 1015. These assemblies are repairable and are required to be annually tested and certified.
Reduced Pressure Principal Assembly
The RPPA is used in low and high hazard applications for protection from backsiphonage and backpressure. These assemblies are commonly found on commercial water taps and at individual points of use. The RPPA specification is ASSE 1013. These assemblies are repairable and are required to be annually tested and certified.
